The XYQD-25G01 uses Class H insulation (rated for 180°C) rather than the more common Class F (155°C) on smaller traction motors. Q: Should I pick an AC or a DC auxiliary motor?
A: Above ~10 kW and for continuous hydraulic duty, AC (this motor) is the better choice — brushless, cooler-running with Class H insulation, and easy closed-loop speed control through the VFD plus encoder. Below ~10 kW or for simpler battery-direct drive, our DC series wound auxiliary motors (XQD-series, e.g. XQD-6.3-1SW) are simpler and cheaper to integrate.
Q: Why does XYQD-25G01 need a VFD and an encoder?
