The XYQ-10PC01K is a 3-phase AC squirrel cage induction motor — also called an induction motor, or asynchronous, because the rotor turns slightly slower than the rotating stator field. The rotor is a cast aluminium cage with no brushes and no commutator, so there is almost nothing to wear — which is why AC induction takes over from DC brushed motors above a few kW. It is the heaviest unit in Baoluo's 48V AC traction family.
The XYQ-10PC01K runs on a variable frequency drive (inverter), not fixed mains. The inverter sits on the 48V DC battery bus and synthesizes the 3-phase AC the motor needs; by varying frequency and voltage together it controls speed smoothly and delivers maximum torque at zero speed for launch. So you can match the motor to your driving cycle without a transmission, and regenerative braking is straightforward as the inverter pushes current back into the battery on deceleration.
Three features set this unit apart. B35 mounting combines feet and a flange: the feet carry torque reaction while the flange centres the shaft on the gearbox or hub face — a rigid two-point location for heavy vehicles seeing shock loads. The 64 P/rev Hall-effect encoder closes the speed loop, so the inverter holds the commanded rpm under load instead of drifting as open-loop V/Hz does. S2-60min is a short-time duty rating: full 10 kW for 60 minutes, then a cool-down — the pattern of shuttle runs, lift cycles and AGV loops. IP54 and Class H insulation (winding rated to 180 °C) give thermal headroom for repeated start-up and overload.

Q: What is the relationship between the 48V DC battery and the 31V AC motor terminal voltage?
A: 48V DC is the battery / DC bus; the VFD synthesizes the 3-phase AC the motor runs on, so the terminal voltage is not the battery voltage. 31V is the rated 3-phase AC voltage at the motor terminals at the 54 Hz base frequency, set by the inverter's V/Hz curve.
Q: Why does the XYQ-10PC01K have a 64 P/rev Hall encoder?
A: The 64 P/rev Hall-effect encoder gives the inverter closed-loop speed feedback. Without it the VFD runs open-loop V/Hz and drifts under load; with it the controller holds the commanded rpm tightly — what you want on a heavy forklift lift cycle, an AGV path-follow or a transfer cart starting under load.
Q: What is B35 mounting, and how does it differ from B5 or B3?
A: B35 is a combined foot-and-flange mounting (IEC): feet for a base plus a flange bolting to the gearbox or hub face. B5 is flange only; B3 is foot only.
