The XYQ-7.5PC01 is a 3-phase AC squirrel cage induction motor — also called an induction motor, or asynchronous, because the rotor turns slightly slower than the rotating stator field. The rotor is a cast aluminium cage with no brushes and no commutator, so there is almost nothing to wear — which is why AC induction takes over from DC brushed motors above a few kW. It is the 48V / 7.5 kW member of Baoluo's AC traction family.
The XYQ-7.5PC01 runs on a variable frequency drive (inverter), not fixed mains. The inverter sits on the 48V DC battery bus and synthesizes the 3-phase AC the motor needs; by varying frequency and voltage together it controls speed smoothly and delivers maximum torque at zero speed for launch. So you can match the motor to your driving cycle without a transmission, and regenerative braking is straightforward as the inverter pushes current back into the 48V battery on deceleration.
Two ratings here are easy to misread. The two voltages are not a contradiction: 48V DC is what the battery delivers to the inverter, while 31V is the 3-phase AC the inverter applies to the motor terminals at the 53 Hz base frequency (about 0.58 V/Hz) — different quantities on either side of the VFD. S2-60min is a short-time duty rating: the motor delivers its full 7.5 kW for 60 minutes, then cools before the next full-load period — exactly the pattern of shuttle runs, lift cycles, AGV loops and transfer-cart trips. It is paired with IP54 enclosure and Class H insulation (winding rated to 180 °C) for thermal headroom under repeated start-up and overload.

A: 48V DC is the battery / DC bus feeding the inverter; the VFD synthesizes the 3-phase AC the motor runs on, so the motor terminal voltage is not the battery voltage. 31V is the rated 3-phase AC voltage at the motor terminals at the 53 Hz base frequency. The exact value follows the VFD's V/Hz programming — 31V at 53 Hz is the rated point to design your inverter around.
Q: What does S2-60min duty mean for my application?
A: S2-60min is a short-time duty rating: the motor is rated for 60 minutes of continuous load at 7.5 kW, then it must cool close to ambient before the next full-load period. This covers most shuttle, lift-cycle, AGV-loop and transfer-cart duty. If your vehicle runs continuously at full load beyond that, a larger frame or higher duty rating is the right choice.
Q: What is the mounting style — B5, B14 or B3?
